Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amal Afifi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, and Professor Dr. Randa Hassan, Dean of the Higher Institute of Engineering,
the Design Art course, organized by the Community Service Department at the Higher Institute of Engineering, commenced yesterday. The course, held for students of industrial schools in Maadi and Dar El Salam, will run from April 20th to 23rd, 2026.

The first day of the course included:

A lecture entitled "The Art of Sustainable Design," delivered by Dr. Iman Khalaf.

And a lecture entitled "Computer Applications in Architectural Engineering," delivered by Dr. Rasha Mehran.
