Dr. El-Sayed Badr, Professor of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Benha University, stated that Prof. Seddik Afifi's initiative to use artificial intelligence in the early detection of breast cancer is in fact an initiative of very great importance to the Egyptian society, and Dr. added. Mr. Badr said that using artificial intelligence, many diseases can also be diagnosed, including cancer, especially early detection.
He added that this distinguished initiative from Prof. Dr. Seddik Afifi, President of Thebes Educational Institutions and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Merit University, comes within the framework of the Egyptian State Vision 2030, noting that Egypt needs a lot of such initiatives and ideas in order to reach the ranks of developed countries and serve the individual, and these are matters that are given to it by His Excellency President Sisi is of great importance.
He added that the presence of Prof. Dr. Seddik Afifi at the head of this initiative and the presence of Prof. Ibrahim Salim as its executive director confirms the importance of this initiative and confirms that it is a successful initiative, stressing that it will achieve greater success in the coming period.
